PixelBead – Pixel Art Studio (“we”) values your personal information and privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information and describes your rights. Please read it before using the Service. Continued use means you understand and agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
To provide sign-in, profile display, synchronization, and membership services, we may process information when you use the relevant feature: WeChat OpenID, UnionID, and authorized profile data; an Apple user identifier and any name or email you choose to share; a verified HUAWEI ID identifier; mobile number and verification data; a guest device identifier; profile details and images you provide; device, network, and necessary log data; and creation, draft, published work, community interaction, and order data.
SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION NOTICE: When you actively use the relevant feature, we may process account authentication credentials such as a one-time authorization code, ID Token, or SMS verification code; facial images or information about a child under 14 that may appear in photos, avatars, or artwork you upload; and transaction information such as order number, amount, payment channel, and transaction status. We process this information only to complete account sign-in, image creation and display, content publishing, payment, and entitlement delivery. You may refuse, but the corresponding feature will be unavailable while other basic features remain available. Payment providers, not us, process bank card numbers and payment passwords. Obtain the separate consent of the relevant person or their guardian before uploading content containing another person's or a child under 14's sensitive personal information. Photo, video, or camera permissions are requested only when you actively use the corresponding feature.
HARMONYOS OAID NOTICE: When you actively select Alipay and confirm payment, the Alipay payment security component initializes and performs a security check. When the system API is available, it reads or attempts to read the Open Advertising Identifier (OAID). OAID is a resettable, non-permanent device identifier unrelated to your HUAWEI ID. It is used only to identify abnormal payment devices, verify transaction security, prevent fraud and cheating, and protect payment services, not for this app's personalized advertising or ad delivery. The Alipay payment security component reads OAID on the device and transmits and analyzes it only to the minimum extent necessary for those purposes. We do not separately store OAID on our own servers or use it to access contacts, messages, photos, precise location, or other content. You may reset OAID or enable Limit Ad Tracking under HarmonyOS Settings > Privacy > Ads & privacy. Doing so does not affect core creation or work-management features, but may affect Alipay security checks or make that payment method unavailable.
HARMONYOS SUPPLEMENTAL PROCESSING LIST: We read clipboard text once only when you tap Paste on the Xiaohongshu pattern-import page, to fill in and recognize the link you intend to import. We do not read the clipboard automatically at launch, on page entry, or in the background. We record editor visits, image import or export actions, feature results, quota notices, membership-entry taps, and the related page, app version, runtime platform, and app-scoped derived device identifier for feature analytics, troubleshooting, and deduplication, not personalized advertising. This version includes the DCloud uni-app x HarmonyOS runtime (including @dcloudio/uni-app-harmony, uni-crash, and the runtime's built-in video-compression component), HUAWEI Account component @uni_modules/uni-oauth-huawei, Alipay component @cashier_alipay/cashiersdk (including UTDID and BlueShield, invoked by @uni_modules/uni-payment-alipay), and WeChat component @tencent/wechat_open_sdk (invoked by @uni_modules/uni-payment-wxpay). The account-deletion path is Me > Profile > Delete account. Deletion permanently disables sign-in and clears nickname, avatar, mobile number, email, and some subscription-link information. Account identifiers, derived device identifiers, hashed third-party account links, works, orders, and necessary audit records may be retained to prevent re-login, fulfil orders and after-sales obligations, preserve user-created content, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Use Feedback or email chenpan@chenpan.love to request deletion of cloud information that may legally be deleted or to withdraw consent. One-time authentication credentials are not retained as business records; other data is retained only for the period necessary for the stated purpose or required by law, then deleted or anonymized.
2. How we use information
We use information only as necessary to create and maintain accounts, verify sign-in, display profiles, provide creation and work-management features, process orders and grant benefits, improve the product, perform security and risk reviews, diagnose issues, synchronize platform-specific progress, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information or use it for purposes inconsistent with this Policy without consent.
3. Storage and location
Personal information collected and generated during operations in mainland China is generally stored there. If third-party services such as cloud storage or CDNs involve cross-border transfer, we will comply with applicable law and require appropriate safeguards.
4. Sharing and entrusted processing
We may engage qualified service providers for servers, object storage, analytics, and other technical support and contractually restrict their processing. Where required by law or with your consent, we may disclose necessary information to judicial authorities, regulators, or affiliated entities.
5. Third-party services
Some capabilities depend on third-party platforms or services, including WeChat, Apple, Huawei, Alipay, and the DCloud uni-app x runtime. Related components are invoked only for basic app operation or when you actively use the corresponding sign-in, payment, or push feature. The relevant platform terms and privacy policies also apply.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may access, copy, correct, or delete personal information. You can edit nickname and avatar in the profile page. For account deletion or other requests, use Feedback or contact us, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
7. Protection of minors
If you are a minor, read this Policy with a guardian and obtain consent before using the Service. We do not intentionally collect personal information from minors and will delete information collected by mistake as soon as practicable.
8. Information security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The internet is not completely secure, so you should also protect your account and device.
9. Policy updates
We may revise this Policy and publish updates on this page or in the app. Material changes will be announced more prominently. Please review this Policy periodically.
